Every architect strives to achieve the best project results on behalf of their clients. Many factors play into the success of a project but none more important than its construction execution.

Recently, I had the opportunity to complete a CIBC Wood Gundy project located in Saskatoon with Corey Campbell of Arcee Construction. Corey’s professionalism and ability to work as a team player became a huge asset to the success of the project. As we designed and worked from our Toronto office, Corey’s assistance helped to make the project execution effortless.

It has been a true pleasure working with Corey and I look forward to another opportunity in which our offices may collaborate again.

It is my very great pleasure to offer this testimonial for Corey Campbell with Arcee Construction. I have known Corey for four years, during which time he has proven himself to be an absolute professional.

As Facility Manager for Western Canada for CN Rail, I oversee multimillion dollars projects with precise budgets and strict quality control. Corey has been involved in several projects, and I know that I can count on him to adhere to timelines, fulfill his obligations in a timely and efficient manner, and behave professionally. I trust him and his work, and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

We hired Corey Campbell for major house renovations in 2010 and 2011. A downtown architect’s firm employee recommended Corey Campbell to us in 2009, saying that in commercial work that he’d commissioned Corey to do there was very little in the way of call-backs, fix-ups, or screw-ups to look after when the job was done. We understood that he was also doing residential work. On that recommendation we engaged with Corey to do major renovations to our nearly 55-year-old Boychuck construction bi-level in the Greystone area: we did the downstairs in 2009, and the upstairs in 2010.

From the very first meeting we knew we were dealing with a straightforward, honest guy who was on top of the game. And the signs of his professional attitude and approach were all there: he recommended a fantastic interior designer to guide us through the important planning stage; his promised start dates for both years were firm; he showed up every morning to check in with his subcontractors and with us; he checked at the end of the day, and often several times during the day; if there were errors or mistakes of any kind these were sorted out quickly; if there were delays of any kind, we were notified as to why; his subcontractors were conscientious and courteous; no significant on-the-spot decisions were made without consultation with one of us; end-of-day clean-ups were a matter of course; demo debris was looked after methodically; and we were happy with the people Corey used for dry-wall, flooring, plumbing, electrical, painting, and windows. Corey managed his crew like an air-traffic controller: we were amazed at how well-timed and efficient that array of jobs by so many people turned out to be. Soon after we got into the first round of renovations, we felt like we were dealing with someone who really had our back. We have been extremely happy with the end results, and the few small glitches or call-backs since the reno Corey has handled quickly and professionally.

There’s another important dimension to all this: Corey’s personality! As we got into the reno-project, we got to know this really nice guy with a terrific sense of humour, learned about his family, his hobbies, his hunting and fishing trips, and found out what a nice guy we were really dealing with. We both recall our surprise when we came home in early December of 2010 to find Persephone tickets from Corey next to the flowers the interior designer had sent us. From our experience over some two years, we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Corey for residential renovations. He is conscientious, thorough, honest, and his team of subcontractors are very well coordinated.

Anyone wanting to look at our renovations is welcome to do so. Just make an appointment through Corey.

I have worked directly with Arcee Construction on a few projects now and I have found them to be courteous, efficient, respectful of tenant requirements and very productive under strict time restraints.

I feel they met all our standards and did so in a safe manner while meeting requirements. I would have no hesitation recommending them for other projects either large or small.

I have used Arcee Construction for over 20 years now and have not once found their service to be anything but professional. Cory goes above and beyond what is required of him as a project manager.  I have used him for jobs from $75k to $1 million dollars and I still get the same level of service from him, as far as I see he is well versed in construction and will always look out for my best interests.
